About Me
- jennifers jewels and junk
- I am.... A mother of 4, my greatest accomplishments. The man in my life.... supports me, makes me & the childrens a priority, shares many of my passions, & will wait hours for me while I shop for beads & crap, I mean crafts :) I love... my kids, my man, my family & friends, animals, live music, & traveling (going to zoos & bead stores anywhere we go). My obsessions are... Aerosmith, P!nk, Disney, & Josh Hamilton. I watch... Transformers the movie at least once a week (guess that's an obsession too) My confession... I am a hoarder of BEADS but I hope to be more productive in all medias of art jewelry.

Bead Soup Slacker
Well,
I completely dropped the ball. I was extremely excited to participate in Lori's Bead Soup Blog Hop. I have been following her blog & the Hop for at least a year & when I actually got on the list I was jumping with joy, however, I must apologize to Lori Anderson & my Bead Soup partner Joyce Blair. I did not get my soup finished & did not make a post.
I could go into excuses but all I am going to say is
sorry.
Please, check out Joyce's blog & her great completed soup at:

Stop & smell the flowers
Today I stopped & smelled the flowers...
actually took a picture.
I don't even know if these have a smell to them but they were just beautiful. They make me really wish for a yard of my own so that I can grow them myself. It's interesting how something can affect you so unexpectedly.
If I had a yard of my own it would be just over ran with flowers of all types. Looking like a wild fairy land.

Joyce Blair - my bead soup blog hop partner
I am a little delayed in sharing who my bead soup blog hop partner is but as they say,
better late than never.
Joyce Blair
Joyce is brand new to blogging, & being fairly new myself I know how intimidating it can be.
My advise for her is:
give it time
blog at the very least once a month
remember if you end up not liking something you can delete it
& most importantly
Have Fun with It.
Are there any other suggestion for myself or any other newbies to blogging?

"But, Mother, I don't want to grow up!" - Wendy from Peter Pan
As time goes on you will see that there are a few things I LOVE, one of them being Disney. Some say I may need to grow up but I feel the younger you feel the younger you stay.
Just because you're young at heart doesn't mean you're not mature, right?
I say, ABSOLUTELY!!!

Mary Star
Purchased these lampwork beads recently. They were made by Mary Star, a local lampwork artist. I would love for her or anyone locally to give a class. I have a starter kit for lampworking but it's been in the box for about 3 years now. A little ridiculous, I know :/
For those lampwork artists out there, would love to hear how you got started? Did you take a class or just dive in? Any tips would be greatly appreciated :)
